TBRM is a studio without a real base. What this means is we utilize talent, not buildings.
Yes we have studios, but yes, also they change in geographical location depending on the job at hand. There is no one specialty, as we send the project at hand, to a staff member who specializes in the relevant genre of music, whether it be trip hop, hip hop, r&b, progressive rock or trance, or country. TBRM initially stood for The Best Radio Mix, and was named as such by the owner and senior producer Michael P.
However one of the first rules of this industry is knowing when you can't give a job the justice it deserves, and know when to hand it to someone else. This is how TBRM came to be something larger, more versatile, and polished in its mission.
The idea is not be a cheap sausage factory style production house, but more of a boutique for clientèle, be they record labels, management companies or artists directly to help them fine tune the image they desire and most importantly to make them be the best they can be.
